Aqua Blue Limestone Paving, also known as Kota Blue Limestone, is one of our popular Indian Limestone Paving options with a very beautiful colour palette. This understated and unique blend of colours give off a light blue hue when dry and more grey tones when wet, ensuring that it looks beautiful no matter what the weather.
These paving slabs are calibrated to a 22mm depth which ensures perfect size consistency, long-lasting durability and a high quality when laying the slabs.Â
These grey paving slabs have a much higher porosity in comparison to Porcelain Paving, which are manufactured. This is caused by the fact that these slabs are naturally formed, and due to the nature of the material, they will also weather naturally as time passes by allowing moisture to penetrate its surface.
- Many different colour choices
- Different sizes available, including patio packs
- Creates a natural, yet modern garden finish
- Calibrated to 22mm for size consistency
- Natural porosity makes this environmentally-friendly

These natural paving stones have a textured and distinctive finish. Kotah Blue Limestone Paving has been widely used in numerous garden projects, particularly in back garden patios and around swimming pools, they look particularly nice poolside because the blue stones perfectly compliment the blue of the water. They are perfect in a garden wanting a cool and calm atmosphere.Â

What is the Difference Between Limestone and Sandstone Paving?
There are many similarities between Limestone and Sandstone Paving Slabs due to both of them deriving from Indian stone quarries that contain large rocks that have been formed over thousands of years.
As the more cost-effective option, Limestone is slightly more brittle when compared to Sandstone. But keep in mind that once Limestone has been laid, the durability will be the same as Sandstone Paving.
An aspect to take note of is that Limestone will naturally fade over time, whether or not Sealer is used. And this eventual fading does require some upkeeping to retain the original colour as long as possible. Maintaining the original colours in Sandstone Paving is slightly easier.Â
There are many varieties available for Sandstone and Limestone Paving. Sandstone and Limestone are available in Weathered Paving options, with Sandstone also being available as Sawn Paving too. If you also want matching garden edging or a nice patio paving border, matching Cobble Setts are also available for both Sandstone and Limestone Paving.
All in all, when deciding between Sandstone Paving or Limestone Paving, it really comes down to the colours you are after, and whether you are happy for your Indian Limestone to fade over time. Both require the same up-keep and have a lovely rustic look to them.Â
